Gällivare Museum is a cultural history museum. Except for permanent and temporary exhibitions, the museum also houses the Fire Museum and an archive of cultural history literature from the 17th century to the present. The museum is run by the Gällivare municipality in collaboration with the Gellivare Socken Hembygdsföreningen. At the museum, you can learn about local minorities, Sami history as well as the history of settlers and the iron ore mining industry made by LKAB in Malmberget.
